September 9, 2009 LOS National Winner!!!!

The first night of racing got cancelled due to heavy amounts of rain the night before. The second night it started off a little cloudy but cleared off for a great night of racing. The track was wicked fast all night. Starting outside front row of the third heat was a great place to start for as tacky as the track was. I jumped out front on the first lap of the heat. Lead all ten laps and set a new track record of 101 mph. Winning the hear race locked me in for the dash. I started 6th in the dash and ran 5th. And that’s where I would line up in the feature. When the green dropped I jumped into 4th and the held the spot for a little while until the leader had a tire go down and moved me up to 3rd. As the race progressed on we got into heavy lap traffic and a lap car spun collecting the leader and second place car and almost involving me. With the two leaders wrecking it moved me into the lead where I held off Tony Bruce Jr. for the win and the $4,000 payday. This was by far the biggest win of my career and I would like to thank all the sponsors, my family, and my crew for giving the much needed support and hope to continue are partnership through the years.
Thank You!

September 1, 2009 Lake Ozark Speedway

Josh Fisher Racing made its way to the Lake Ozark Speedway for the last night for the 2009 points. Coming into the night 41 points behind the leader due to conflicting schedules the week previous. We hoped to maybe capitalize on the night and bring home yet another Lake Ozark Speedway points championship. We won the heat race and started on the outside front row of the dash. We finished second in the dash which put us outside of the front row for the feature. With the top side be right against the wall we chose to pick the shorter safer way around the speedway on the bottom. Well to say the lest we picked the wrong groove and finished fifth. But as the race progressed on the bottom started getting better and we mere only three car lengths from passing fourth and third. Although we didn’t win the Lake Ozark Speedway points Championship its still good to end up second after missing four races. This weekend is the Lake Ozark Speedway 360 Nationals and hope to get a good run Saturday to get licked in on Sunday. I will keep you posted with all the news and results from Josh Fisher Racing.
