June 27, 09 ASCS At The Lake

My night started off fairly well finishing a solid 3rd in the heat race but did not land us enough points to make the A main. We had to start outside the front row for the second B main. When the green dropped we took the lead and never looked back to win the B main. Starting 18th in the A main i worked my way up to 11th in the matter of three or four laps. Then mother nature took control of the race as the rain fell for about ten or more minutes. When the race went back green the track had totally changed from what is was when the race started. I struggled the rest of the race to keep the car on all four wheels due to the track change it tightened the car up a bunch. We ended up 16th. Not what we wanted but we loaded the car in one piece.
